Information processed by the app
The app lets you record dates and times, suspected factors, symptom ratings, explicit absence values, notes, custom factors or symptoms, and language preferences.
Where your information is stored
Your entries and preferences are stored locally in the app's private storage on your device. The app does not create an account or use cloud synchronization for health records. It does not transmit your symptoms, suspects, ratings, notes, daily contexts, or custom items to Mental Edge. Device and cloud backup are disabled for the app.
Subscription and purchase information
If you view, buy, restore, or manage Premium, Apple App Store or Google Play processes the payment under its own terms and privacy policy. The installed app communicates directly with the applicable store billing framework to request products and localized prices, open checkout, acknowledge completed Google Play purchases, and read current store entitlements.
Discoverable does not operate a billing server, billing database, or purchase-verification service. No Play purchase token or Apple signed transaction is sent to Mental Edge. Health records, symptoms, suspects, ratings, and notes are never included in store billing operations.
Data collection and sharing
Discoverable contains no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, third-party tracking SDK, or social sign-in. We do not sell personal information. Purchase information is handled only by Apple App Store or Google Play.
Retention
Local health records remain until you edit them, use Start fresh, or uninstall the app. The app may keep a local plan label for display, but current ownership is always read from the applicable store. Apple and Google retain purchase records according to their own policies.
Your choices and deletion
You can edit individual observations inside the app. The Start fresh action erases observations, daily contexts, and—when selected in its confirmation—custom definitions. Uninstalling the app also removes its private local health data. Start fresh and uninstalling do not cancel a store subscription; manage or cancel it through Apple App Store or Google Play. Contact the applicable store for its transaction records.
Security
The app minimizes exposure by keeping health entries on-device, disabling app backup and cleartext network traffic, separating billing from health records, and requesting no sensitive device permissions. Purchases use Apple StoreKit or Google Play Billing directly. No security measure can eliminate every risk, so keep your device protected with its available screen lock and operating-system updates.
Health and medical notice
Discoverable is a personal wellness journal that shows observational associations in information you record. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and it does not prove that one factor caused a symptom. Do not start, stop, or change medication, supplements, or treatment because of an app result. Seek advice from a qualified health professional when appropriate, and contact local emergency or crisis services if there is an immediate risk of harm.
Children
The app is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If the app's data practices change, this policy and the disclosures in Google Play and App Store Connect will be updated before those changes are released.
